Nowadays, sea logistics is not available for Ukrainian ice cream, so in one year, Ukraine increased its presence on the European market by a third, losing the traditional Middle Eastern and Asian markets.
The return of Ukrainian ice cream to traditional markets is a key task for producers. and due to the lack of container logistics through the ports of Odesa, the question of creating a new market for small container transportation is being considered, when small vessels of the Panamax class are chartered, and small vessels of 200-500 units are chartered.
Therefore, not only grain growers, but also Ukrainian food producers hope to solve the export issue before the end of the war.
It is planned to create small lines for container logistics not only for ice cream, but for goods that require container logistics.
As a reminder, in June 2023, Ukrainian companies shipped 1.65 thousand tons of ice cream to foreign markets, which is 13% more than a month earlier.
